August 2010

I recently organised a shoot to profile a very talented and original Dundee designers jewellery range. I met Nicola Morrison at a networking meeting and from there we decided to collaborate. Amanda Miller (Abernyte Antiques Centre) provided vintage clothes (Maxmara, Frank Usher etc) and Hazel Bruce also of Abernyte Antiques Centre loaned me some 19th Century French chairs. Lousie Beattie agreed to photograph the event and Dylan Drummond recorded some video footage to add to my showreel I am developing with the help of Dylan. Lynn Ferguson (signed model from Glasgow) and Roslynn Mckenzie were the models for the day. It was Roslynn's first taste of modelling and I was pleased once again to give a young girl the opportunity to be part of a fashion shoot.

Roslynn loved the experience and I was able to give her some advice on building her portfolio and gaining experience in the modelling world. Thanks also goes to Alison Preuss of 'The Frockery' who kindly lent me a vintage bag for the day. For lots of original, vintage, high quality clothing visit Amanda's stall at Abernyte and grab yourself a bargain. I hope you enjoy the pictures, more to follow soon...
